About Adam
Adam Weisman joined HRW's predecessor firm, Hinderaker Rauh & Weisman, in 2002. He is licensed to practice law in Arizona and Wyoming. A graduate of the University of Arizona Rogers College of Law, Adam's practice focuses on business litigation, especially in the areas of real estate, landlord and tenant law (commercial and residential), land use and easements, and contracts.
Adam is the past Chair of the Real Property Section of the Arizona Bar Association. He represents clients throughout the states of Arizona and Wyoming and has appeared for bench and jury trials in almost every county of Arizona, Teton County, WY, and in Federal Courts. He has also briefed and argued appeals, including in the Arizona Supreme Court.
Adam lectures to both legal professionals and laypeople on landlord-tenant issues and complex easement matters. He has also provided legal advice and pro bono legal services to arts and athletic organizations, as well as to thousands of tenants and indigent pro per litigants.
Representative Experience
- A million-dollar American Arbitration Association decision in favor of the contractor in a Teton County construction defect arbitration.
- Prevailing in the oral argument of Kadlec v. Dorsey, 224 Ariz. 551, before the Arizona Supreme Court.
- Obtaining dismissal and partial summary judgment in St. Philip's Plaza v. Noble Investment Group, LLC, 2016 WL 11621000 (1) and 2016 WL 1381272.
- Winning a successful jury verdict for HRW client, Blue Diamond Homes, in Navajo County.
- Settling a breach of lease litigation for a commercial landlord for over $500,000, including future rent.
- Enforcing a contract against a major health insurance company in American Arbitration Association proceedings on behalf of Dependable Health Services.
- Successfully representing homeowners and contractors before the Registrar of Contractors.
